Dandelion Cranberry Tea – Jillian Michaels Inspired
Dandelion Cranberry Tea for Weight Loss
I have seen Jillian Michaels Dandelion Cranberry Tea on-line for awhile. Lose up to 5 pounds in 7 days. Jillian Michael’s Detox Water
60 ounces Purified Water
2 TBS Diet Cranberry Juice
2 TBS Lemon Water
1 Bag Dandelion Tea
Directions: You must drink the sixty ounces each day for seven days. The recipe works because it flushes out excess water weight from your body.
I am trying my own version of the above recipe.
Dandelion Greens Diuretic properties help with promoting urine production and reducing symptoms of some liver, gallbladder and kidney conditions. Dandelion greens you may not know are more like the super green foods you would normally eat. Nutritional Content provides four more times as much calcium, 1.5 times as much vitamin A along with 7 times the amount of vitamin K as Broccoli.
Cranberries
Cranberries have vitamin C and fiber, and are a mere 45 calories per cup. Cranberries have the antioxidants our body craves. Cranberries outrank nearly every fruit and vegetable–including strawberries, spinach, broccoli, red grapes, apples, raspberries, and cherries. Interesting fact; One cup of whole cranberries has 8,983 total antioxidant capacity. Only blueberries can top that.
Lemons I pretty much add to everything, check out my Lemon, Ginger, Cayanne Detox drink for all the benefits lemons have.

It is good for getting rid of times when you may over indulge.

Oh interesting! We don’t have a store where it sells dandelion leaves like that! We are in such a rural area we miss out on really neat organic stores! Sounds like an interesting tea!

When I lived on the farm I had free dandelion leaves, it was awesome!
Tammy
I have never seen dandelion sold like that before. My only experience with dandelions are the yellow ones that grow on my lawn 😉
adecheine
Yea, think of the ones you don’t pick maybe under a shade tree that grows really large, that is it. I loved picking them on the farm, they were about 12 inches long.

I love Dandelion Tea (it’s a good coffee alternative), yet been hesitant about trying it with cranberry juice. However, I love your version, and will probably try it this way. I haven’t seen actual dandelion greens in the stores, though. Just the tea.

Cooking with dandelion? Wow, I learn something new every day. I’m really interested in trying it but I love the fact that this has the cranberry and lemon for familiar flavors.
