[mv_create ]Weight Loss plateau? Try this Immune Boosting Detox Water that will help flush your system of unwanted toxins. Reduce belly bloat and hydrate you.
Monika Grabkowska
How to boost your immune system quickly is a question we have been asked many times. This Immune Boosting Detox water will do the trick. Infused with healthy ingredients to help flush the system. This drink is very close to the Dr Oz detox water recipe we have tried, and LOVE it. If you are carrying around extra belly weight and cannot seem to get rid of it, you are probably not drinking enough water. If you drink this for 3 days it is a great 3 day belly fat cleanse.
RELATED: The Weight Loss drink aka Master Cleanse, is a liquid-only diet drinking three things: a lemonade-like beverage, salt-water drink, and herbal laxative tea. What will happen after the ten days you drink this? You will flush out toxins.
Help your immune system get stronger by getting more vitamins into your water! Detox water benefits:
- Weight loss
- Toxin removal or detox
- Balancing the pH of the body
- Better digestive health
- Boosting immune function
- Improving mood
- Increasing energy levels
- Improving complexion
- Grapefruits – A large amount of Vitamin C actually turns fat into fuel. Grapefruit has been labeled lately as the perfect fruit. Grapefruits are high in fiber and low in calories, and they contain bioflavonoids that protect against cancer. Grapefruits also increase the body’s metabolic rate, and actually makes you feel full!. It even fights fatigue! Start your day off with half a grapefruit to jump start your day!
- lemons -are a great source of Vitamin C and Potassium. This is a virtually fat-free food which punches a massive amount of flavor. Lemon aids in liver detox and alkalizes the body. Lemon juice is also a mild diuretic, so adding it to your water is going to help flush out those toxins.
- Mint Benefits – It stimulates the digestive enzymes that absorb nutrients from food and consume fat and turns it into usable energy. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, mint relaxes your stomach muscles and increases bile flow, improving your digestion of fats.

I am flying next month so I need to make this water. I tried getting a flu shot yesterday but my store has not received them yet due to the hurricanes.

We could all use a little more water in our lives. Flavored water is definitely one way to drink more.

The grapefruit in water sounds really good. It has been a long time I have made infused water, and I’ll have to give this combination a try.

I make combinations like this all of the time and while I know each has it’s good health benefits for my body I had no idea how much. This really helps me understand the benefits!

My immune system is shot. I am on a biologic for my rheumatoid arthritis. The meds help keep the disease from damaging my joints but the down side it causes me to get sick easily.

Infused water is so much better than pure water. I’m guilty of just using those flavor sticks for mine, but this way is so much better (and healthier!)

I like to drink a glass of water with lemon in the morning, but never thought of adding grapefruit and mint. Sounds so refreshing! Will give this a go for sure. Thanks!

My husband makes up a potent mixture of lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, turmeric and a dash of cayenne. He dilutes about 2 tbsp of this in a glass of water and drinks it each morning. I can’t touch the stuff but I am going to see if he will try this recipe. This looks so much tastier. Thanks for sharing.
beccajtalbot
I drink A LOT of water, but never really mix it with anything. This recipe looks very refreshing, and great for detoxing! x

Ok…I know for sure I could not function on a “liquid only” diet…I would be totally miserable…and so would the people around me. That being said, I can see that this great tasting water would be refreshing…especially after a workout.
