Moving from MN to Florida are teams have changed, we are learning to love all of the Florida teams. With that being said we are always excited for this time of the year basketball fun. Well me more so than my wife. This year at our new local pub we both filled out some fun basketball brackets. My wife and I picked up the Coca Cola NCAA® Final Four Packs at the in-store display. We found these right before aisle 22 and the ingredients for our Asian Cherry Coke chicken sliders sauce at Walmart.
Coca-Cola NCAA® Final Four Pack available at Walmart are available in Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke and Coke Zero are perfect to share with friends that come over for your basketball party. My wife and I love sliders, the chicken is enough to pop right into the crockpot for an easy meal idea. I decided to go with an Asian Cherry Coke sauce recipe. We thought that was a great idea to replace the sugar that we would use with the Cherry Coke.
The ingredients for the sauce we picked up at Walmart along with the Coca-Cola NCAA® Final Four Pack. You can get 4 packs (16 cans) for $5 or 2 packs for $3. DEAL! I love using fresh ginger too, it really adds a great flavor in addition to the spice of the Sriracha.
With the chicken being just about done I started making the sauce. Grating the ginger makes the house smell wonderful. It is one of my favorite fresh spices. What’s better than an easy meal prep while basketball is playing in the background?
It is so simple to shred chicken right out of the crockpot! Oh before I forget to mention, check out this sweepstakes! You can upload a selfie with a Coca-Cola product on the site below, and be entered to win 2016 NCAA Final Four tickets. Afterwards, you can go on the site to find your selfie and see all of the others!

The sauce turned out better than I even imagined! The addition of the Cherry Coke versus sugar was an A+! I added it into the crock with the shredded chicken and basically let it heat back up!

This sounds like a delicious recipe. I am really into pulled pork lately, maybe because it is so easy to make, so I am excited to add this recipe to our repertoire!

those look DELICIOUS. Could you blame me if I said the cherry coke would have been in my stomach before I would have gotten the chance to cook with it ;)? haha

I am also trying to find new ways to jazz up our chicken. Perfect thing because rolls are so much better than sliced bread and sliders make meals fun.
