Whole Foods Detox Salad
I fell in love with Whole Foods when we lived in MN. We would do our big shopping trip at Walmart then we would stop by Trader Joe’s and lastly Whole Foods. This salad is a recreation of my favorite Whole Foods Detox Salad. The colors are beautiful and this makes one huge batch to easily store in separate containers for the weeks lunch or snack options.
The salad is so healthy! The taste is fresh and the ingredients are simple. All you need is a food processor and your good to go! Some of the beneficial superfoods ingredients are:
- Cauliflower – Cauliflower is an important source of dietary fiber for digestive health.
- Parsley – Acts as Natural Diuretic and Helps to Relieve Bloating.
- Lemon juice – It can aid the bowels in the daily elimination of toxins, and it can help with bloating and gas.
- Broccoli – Broccoli sprouts are super high in antioxidants that help detox enzymes in the digestive tract.
Detoxify during the week with this superfoods detox salad to cleanse your system.
- 1 Large Head Cauliflower
- 2 Heads Broccoli
- 3 Large Carrots
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Parsley
- 2 Tsp Kelp Granules
- 1/4 Cup Pumpkin Seed
- 1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds
- 1 Cup Currants
- 1/2 Cup Raisins
- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
- Salt and Pepper to taste
-
Add all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until you have a nice consistency. Meal prep into 5 containers for lunch with your choice of proteins.

I have never tried a detox salad before, probably because we don’t have a whole foods near. I would love to try it, though, it looks delicious.

This sounds SO good! Just one question- what are kelp granules? Thought I was up on all the best health foods, but I’ve never heard of these. Thank you!

I love a variety to your regular ol’ leafy green salad. This one looks good, and I love that you re-created Whole Foods version.

Thank you so much for the recipe. I’d rather detox with a healthy meal than with meds.

Detoxing our system every so often is a great idea. Our stomachs get a break from the usual and we get to clean it out and lighten up. I do a detox from Dr Oz that I like too. I love this salad.
