Walmart Family Mobile Means More $ for Spring Break Fun

Lowest Priced Unlimited Plans

This is something my wife and I have been discussing a lot since moving down to Marco Island, FL. We left MN with a very high cell bill every month. We still have the kids, the adult kids on the plan. Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web features is a high priority when selecting a new service. My wifeā€™s carrier is horrible with service in this area and what we pay a month for her bill is well over $100.00.

I have used the Walmart Best Plans cell service in the past and it worked great for me. We decided to head to Walmart and pick up the phone for my wife. The Walmart Family Mobile service is $29.88/month (for the first line) Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan which includes up to 500MB of 4G LTE data. That saves us $100.00 a month just for her phone. If we could get the kids to pay off their cell contract, they too would be saving that much! We visited the Walmart in Naples to find our phone, they looked like they were out but the friendly electronics guy found one for us in the back room. 

Our Spring Break Ideas for having fun with our savings

We downloaded the Marco review App.  This handy little app lets us find deals throughout the island.  From best Sunday brunch ideas to where we can get a deal on water sports toys.

With this app we can find the best shopping deals, and the best accommodations when we have family come in for vacation and activities!  Our daughter was here a week and let me tell you that trip costs us a lot of money! 

We can use our savings to take a kayak out and have fun for the day! Kayaks are so relaxing and lets us get close to birds and manatees.  We love going to the beach and renting water toys but it gets expensive, this will allow us to rent and not break the bank!

We can also take out a water bike for the day and have fun on the bay. With the high cell bill there just has not been that extra fun money. We are thrilled with the amount of money we are saving from Walmart!

We headed out to the beach and I sat down with my lemonade and set my wifeā€™s phone up for her. We talked about other areas we could save money too. We called family and friends to test out the service and it worked wonderfully! Now family can call my wife with out it telling them she is out of service.

    There is nothing worse than paying too much for a cell phone. I hate that they are so expensive but you have to have one. I need to look into the service ASAP!!

    My daughter has been asking for her own phone, looks like it might be time to head to Walmart and grab one for her! We are saving money for spring break (heading to FL) by not eating out as much!

    We don't have cable or a landline phone and cancelled anything and everything that we could while hubs and I were in school. We stream all of our shows through Netflix and Hulu. We are with Verizon and live in a rural area. We have tried other plans and carriers but they don't work well where we live. We use our phones a lot. Hubs has us on a high data plan and our bill is ridiculous. i'd love to be able to save money on it.

    I shop at Walmart almost weekend, if it's not for one thing than it's for another. There's such a huge selection of phones at Walmart with their prepaid plans, very impressive.

    It's outrageous how quickly a phone plan can get out of hand, and have you paying exorbitant prices. We have a family plan, and it helps all of us out. I think things are a lot better than they used to me. Competition will do that. But, these unlimited plans, like the one offered at Walmart, are very attractive in price and service.
