Hi All!
Oh, where do I begin…. I absolutely loved every minute of being pregnant. Eating for two, not being able to see my feet, no alcohol, vomiting, restlessness, bathroom breaks every 5 minutes, strange dreams. YES! I loved every second of those long 9 months, Even the fact that I was pregnant throughout the whole summer! I found out I was pregnant in mid February, I was around 8 weeks then. It was quite a shock to me and my boyfriend Mike, but we went in to the long journey with our eyes wide open and our arms open and loving! I was pretty certain that we were having a boy, and Mike thought so too! For some reason I like everyone has boys first? But that’s just the people around me in my life anyways. We had our ultrasound appointment at 21 weeks, and we found out INDEED that we were having a little boy and he was a healthy one at that! Just hearing that everything looked good on the ultrasound and that he was healthy, just made our hearts melt! We were getting so excited to become parents, The end of September when our sweet boy was due cold not come fast enough!
~Picking a name~
Oh my, We definitely could not agree on a name, Mike is very old fashion and loved older names. As did I, but i just couldn’t stick or agree on anything, The day we went into the hospital to be induced we walked the hallways trying to get my water to break thinking of names. We still couldn’t decide on one! We had a few narrowed down, but yet we still weren’t sure. Well anyway, baby wasn’t ready to come that day as we got sent home to come back the next day to start the process over. Which gave us an extra night to think of names.
I was so overwhelmed, at thinking of names though. I had no more new names that I liked nor did Mike. The next day, were on our way back to the hospital to start the induction process. Once the process started, It was only about 7 hours until our sweet boy was here. Once we saw him, we both agreed on a name at that moment and it was so special to us both! We agreed on the name Dallas, and secretly I think I knew I loved that name from the very beginning! Here are some photos of the journey throughout being pregnant!
