Marinated Brussel Sprouts on the Grill

Marinated Brussel Sprouts

Marinated Brussel Sprouts on the Grill

One of my favorite side dishes is Marinated Brussel Sprouts on the Grill, I cannot believe I never ate brussel sprouts until the last few years. My wife got me turned onto these when we lived on the farm for two years. She grew them in the green house atmosphere that I built for her.

Repurposed Oil Tank
I repurposed two Oil Tanks into 4 beautiful raised garden beds. More on that on my next post. The raised beds work wonderfully especially if you have a lot of critters that eat your vegetables. April was able to grow most anything in her beds, even brussel sprouts.
Brussel Sprouts
Brussel sprouts on the grill keep the kitchen clean, which my wife loves. Plus they are healthy for you. They are an excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin K. I try to add cruciferous vegetables in my diet 2-3 times per week, this is pretty easy for my wife and I to accomplish since we like eating healthy.

That’s a fun new twist for making brussel sprouts. I wonder if I’d like them now that I’m grown (I shunned them as a child).

Brussel Sprouts, one of those veggies that I haven’t tried cooking in my kitchen. I am not particular with it so I I don’t how to cook them. Grilling sounds like a good idea.

Once I realized that brussel sprouts were just baby cabbage, I grew to like them. It also helped that the first time I tried them they were drowning in butter and topped with bacon.

I will have to make these for my husband! Just last night he’s tried brussel sprouts (at a restaurant) since he was a kid and he LOVED them! Gotta get something to make this man eat his veggies! lol

Honestly, I haven’t tried Brussel Sprouts yet. I’ve been wanting to try though. And since I like grilled vegetables, I will try your recipe come springtime. Can’t wait for grilling time.

I’ve never made brussel sprouts because I’ve never known how to properly cook them. Now I do, so I guess I will need to give them a try.

Eating brussel sprouts reminds me of being a little kid and not being allowed to have desert till I finished my plate. Never thought I’d see the day where I would enjoy eating healthy haha. But grilled brussel sprouts is one of my favorite meals, though I don’t have it too often. Grilled variations of a lot of vegetables are so delicious.
