Dr Oz: Best Foods To Get Rid of Belly Fat
On the Dr. Oz show Friday, Dr. Oz reveals that there is food that can get your fat to eat itself! Dr. Oz reports that eating the right fats will melt away fat. The reason I love Dr. Oz is because he explains in detail!
Let’s Break it Down first with MUFA’s
Dr. Oz discusses our fat that we have been carrying around first. Known as historical fat. Grabbing Low fat foods is a big mistake because they are filled with additives. We want to eat the right fats that will help flush our fat.
- Adding MUFA’s to your diet – Mufa’s are actually healthy fats that are plant-based, not coming from an animal and the plus is that they are really good for your system.
Dr. Oz went over all the Mufa‘s to add to your meal plan every day. I am addicted to his knowledge and humour!
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Avocados, Olives, Nuts, Coconut Oil and Dark Chocolate are all good for your belly fat.
These Mufa’s will reduce inflammation in our bodies. Inflammation can be seen on the body as itchy dry skin, red patches. The body trying to protect itself. More on that in another post.
Dr. Oz explains adding about a handful of MUFA’s to each meal. Here I made a salad which consists of a little Extra Virgin Olive Oil, sunflower seeds, almonds and pumpkin seeds. Good fats mixed in with healthy greens.

Sounds like a great reason to eat chocolate to me!

I know right? I didn’t have any for my picture LOL
I’m starting to use a lot more olive oil in my cooking these days. The health benefits are great and I’m really coming to like the subtle flavors it brings out in the dishes.
I love all of those except dark chocolate. I didn’t know it was good for belly fat.
I am a big fan of everything listed…dark chocolate especially
I have grown to love olives in the past year. I also have several bottles of olive oil in my cabinet. I recently read on a blog that any oil (coconut, sunflower, grapeseed, olive, etc) isn’t good for you at all. However, it seems like health “experts” are always coming up with something! ~lol~
I just started using coconut oil to my foods and I love me some dark chocolate!
Well, this is something I can live with
More Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Avocados, Olives, Nuts, Coconut Oil and Dark Chocolate are all good by me!
