How to make Paleo Cauliflower Crust Pizza Recipe. That will help you with your Gluten-Free diet. This pizza crust is actually very simple to make, follow our tutorial below.
Paleo Cauliflower Crust Pizza
This Paleo Cauliflower Crust Pizza is simply the BEST. Cut the heavy grains and gluten from your diet with this crust made from steamed cauliflower. Once steamed you’re going to put it into some sort of blender and pulse until you have rice size pieces.
Wash and dry a whole head of Cauliflower and place it in a food processor or blender.  Pulsed it a few times until it looks like rice.  This turns out to be about 2 1/2 cups.  The next thing we are going to do is steam our Cauliflower. Steam it for about 4 minutes until it is soft.  Then you’re going to let it cool.  Next, we are going to wring out the water.
After ringing out the water start mixing in the cheese and egg.
Use 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese and a 1/4 a cup of mozzarella cheese.  The additional cheese will be our topping. We are also adding one egg beaten.  A few pinches of sea salt and two tablespoons of Italian seasoning.  Mix your ingredients.  Now grab your parchment paper and line your baking sheet.  Roll your Cauliflower crust pizza dough onto the pan and use your fingers to form your crust.
Look how pretty the Cauliflower Crust looks.  The nice thing when making this crust is No Mess!  I didn’t have crust stuck to my fingers or under my nails. I added crushed black pepper and rosemary too.  Now we are going to bake it for about 8-12 minutes, depending on your oven until it is a light golden brown, from there we are going to top it with sauce and your ingredients.  Then put it back in the oven and bake the vegetables and cheese until it is a beautiful golden brown.  Here I added fennel seeds over the cheese.
We were drooling already.  The crust came out a nice golden brown.  The texture looks like it would hold all of our ingredients.  My son was on his way over to visit so we were excited to share this pizza with him. He is a health nut 🙂  We topped it with turkey sausage, turkey pepperoni, fresh tomatoes, red peppers, red sweet onions, mushrooms and banana peppers.  We used an organic pizza sauce from Whole Foods and mozzarella cheese as our topping.  Of course, use whatever you like. We baked it an additional 12 minutes at 425 degrees.
Cauliflower Crust Pizza is the perfect alternative if you want to stay away from gluten and grains.
- 1 Medium Cauliflower
- 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese (for crust)
- 1/4 Cup Mozzarella Cheese (for crust)
- 1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese (for topping)
- 1 Egg
- 2 Tbsp Rosemary
- 2 TBSP Italian Seasoning
- 1 Pinch Sea Salt
- 1 Tbsp Fennel Seed
- Toppings of your choice
-
Preheat oven to 425º.
Wash and dry cauliflower.
Cut into small pieces, remove stem.
Steam your cauliflower until soft.
Place in a food processor and pulse it until it looks like the size of rice.
Let it cool.
Place it on a kitchen towel and wring it until you get all the liquid out.
Place it in a bowl and mix your egg, seasoning, and cheeses until you get a nice consistency.
Lay down your parchment paper and use your fingers to form a nice round crust.
Place in the oven at 425º and bake for approximately 8-12 minutes until the crust is starting to get golden.
Take out and layer it with your pizza sauce and ingredients. Top with cheese and add some fennel on top.
Bake for an additional 8-15 minutes. Bake until the cheese is a nice golden brown color.

That looks so good, but I’m not sure I could convince my family to eat it. I think traditional pizza is the only way they’ll eat “pizza” 🙂
Theresa @ Faith and Family Reviews
Mine too, mainly the guys 😉
