5 Clean Eating Detox Lunches
Keep your resolutions on task with these 5 Clean Eating Detox Lunches. Overindulging requires food to clean your system out. Drink lots of water with these lunches to feel fuller longer.
We love eating healthy salads for lunch. Instead of filling up on junky lunches, fill up on a healthy salad. Eating crappy lunches makes into one sluggish afternoon.
5 Clean Eating Detox Lunches
1. Whole Foods Copycat Detox Salad
This salad is a recreation of my favorite Whole Foods Detox Salad. The colors are beautiful and this makes one huge batch to easily store in separate containers for the week’s lunch or snack options. The salad is so healthy! The taste is fresh and the ingredients are simple. All you need is a food processor and your good to go, super easy!
2. Dandelion Greens Salad
Dandelion greens cleanse the liver and help in detoxification. Dandelion greens are rich in minerals. Besides calcium and iron, they are a good source of copper (10% RDA), manganese (8% RDA), phosphorus (5% RDA), potassium (5% RDA) and magnesium (5% RDA).
3. Detox Rainbow Salad
Chopped romaine lettuce, purple cabbage, red pepper, and avocado provide a veritable rainbow of produce. Add sesame seeds, salt, and pepper on top to bring out the flavor.
4. Crunchy Detox Salad
Made with raw broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, sunflower seeds, and a lemon ginger vinaigrette, this salad is a nutritional powerhouse that’ll have you feeling strong and healthy (and satisfied) in no time.
5. Autumn Arugula Salad
Pomegranate seeds, cucumber, and chopped pecans bring on the crunch! Squash and delicious avocado slices will keep you full all afternoon. The arugula brings a peppery flavor and ginger dressing is SO good for you and delicious!
