This Skinny Detox Soup is delicious and inviting. I make this once a month drink for one day then I add it into the blender and sip it for the second day warm.
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen green beans
- 1 cup sweet potatoes cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 cup chopped kale
- 1 cup chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup chickpeas
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 6 cups low sodium beef broth
Instructions
- Chop all of your vegetables.
- Place 6 cups of your broth in a large pot.
- Add all ingredients bring to a small boil then simmer for a few hours until all vegetables are cooked through.
- Eat this soup for one day, then on the second day blend so you will sip on this throughout the day.
Green Goddess Detox Soup
This soup is made with plenty of greens to move through your system thus losing that bloated feeling. Be prepared for hitting the head quite often through the day.
- 2 cups dandelion leaves chopped.
- 2 cups spinach chopped
- 1 cup kale chopped
- 1 cup frozen edamame peas
- 1 cup green cabbage chopped
- 1 cup parsley chopped
- 1 cup basil chopped
- 1 can green chilies
- 1 cup tomatillos chopped
- 1 cup zucchini chopped
- 1 cup green onion chopped
- 6 cups water
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a large pot.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Eat a few bowls a day for three days.
Refreshing Spicy Detox Soup
This detox soup is one of my favorite because of the spicy kick. I drink it in the morning to really rev up my system.
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown rice
- 2 cans low sodium tomatoes with green chilies
- 1-inch grated ginger
- 1/2 cup radishes chopped
- 1 cup radicchio
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and deveined, then chopped into small pieces
- 1 avocado chopped
- Juice of one lime
- One cup chopped sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon chili seasoning
- 6 cups low sodium tomato juice
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a large pot.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for a few hours until potatoes are tender.
- Drink throughout the day for a few days.
