Chia Seeds –  Is super-high in fiber, providing nearly 11 grams per ounce. One serving can provide the recommended fiber intake for the day, according to the American Dietetic Association. A recent study published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning concluded that consuming chia seeds enhanced exercise performance for workouts that lasted 90 minutes the same way a sugar-laden sports drink would, but without all the sugar.

Mint – According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, peppermint relaxes your stomach muscles and increases bile flow, improving your digestion of fats. It promotes relaxation throughout the gastrointestinal tract, helping flatulence pass more easily. Mint is a stimulant, but it also stimulates the digestive enzymes that absorb nutrients from food and consume fat and turns it into usable energy.

  • 1 Handful Mint
  • 1 tbsp Protein
