Baked Kale Chips Recipe

Working at home has its temptations.  Snacking while sitting in front of the computer for 8-10 hours a day can be damaging to your body.  Especially a woman in her late 40’s! For me, making healthy snacks with a little bite is a must.  One of my favorites is Baked Kale Chips, and Spicy Spinach Chips they are so tasty and nutritious.

Kale has virtually zero calories, is high in fiber and helps with your digestion. One cup of Kale has 36 calories, 0 fat and 5 grams of Fiber.  Kale is high in Iron, Vitamin K and Antioxidants.

I buy fresh Organic Kale either from the Farmers Market or Whole Foods.  Kale is also a good anti- inflammatory food.  I am learning a lot about what anti-inflammatory foods do for you.  This can help with skin issues, autoimmune disorders, and arthritis.  One of my favorite reasons to eat Kale is it is a good detoxifying food.  I love Detox drinks and foods that help my body release toxins.

I toss my Kale in Extra Virgin Olive Oil a dash of Himalayan Sea Salt and about a Tablespoon of Cayenne Pepper. Easy Peasy.

Thank you for the recipe. Looks very healthy and delicious. I don’t know if there’s a kale here in our country but I can say it’s a bit similar to “crispy kangkong”- an appetizer, green leafy vegetable that is dipped in a batter mixture then deep fried.

I haven’t tried kale in chip form yet, we always use it when we’re juicing though, I will have to give these a try sometime, forever seeing people make them like this.
