Green Tea Benefits and Green Tea Sangria

Happy New Year! We celebrated the New Year at the beach with Green Tea Sangria. What a beautiful day we had. We started it off at the Rose Marina sitting outside watching the boats head out for a day on the water and the Pelicans waiting for some scraps.

We LOVE Green Tea because it has so many benefits! We try to incorporate the drink into our diet at least once a day. Green Tea is loaded with antioxidants that have some pretty powerful effects on your body, this you can google and find a numerous amounts of reports and articles.

One of them being Fat Loss by increasing your metabolic rate. Green Tea increase levels of hormones that says hey fat cells start breaking down the fat, thus releasing fat into the bloodstream which in turn becomes energy. A great way to get all the antioxidants is to make a Green Tea Lemonade. I found this on the Dr. Oz show. Look for that recipe tomorrow.
We found a study showing that fat oxidation was increased by 17%, meaning that green tea may selectively increase the burning of fat.

      Oh wow I would have never thought to use green tea in an alcoholic drink but I’d love to try this. We drink green tea and alcoholic drinks so it makes sense to combine them lol.
